Every business begins as an idea. However, taking the first step to write down the idea and even present the same to investors in a conversation takes a daring heart. It is for this reason that members of SwahiliPot hub are encouraged to pitch their business ideas before their peers and possible investors – the event is held on a weekly basis, every Thursday from 12.30PM to 2PM.
During these sessions members are encouraged plan their business ideas using the guidance of a pitching template that is shared with only interested members.
The members who desire to pitch are required to register before the close of business on Tuesday having emailed their pitching presentation to the Senior Administrator. On Pitching Thursday, all members of SwahiliPot hub present in the hub are expected to attend the pitching session so as to assist ideator refine their idea after they have pitched. Each ideator only takes 10 minutes to pitch after which the members voice their concerns regarding the idea.
After pitching your idea, the next best thing you can do is attend the Startup Training provided by one of the most effective entrepreneur trainer- DOT (Digital Opportunity Trust). This training is conducted in the upper training room every Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm for 3 months. This gives the ideator an opportunity to professionally refine their idea for launching. The benefits of pitching are unending!

The Networking Club is composed of Swahilipot members who are computer networks enthusiasts. Seeing that the world revolves around the way people connect, communicate and collaborate, this team focuses on actualizing networking and preparing the members to carry out assignments in this field.
With CISCO as one of Swahilipot Hub’s partner, the networking club adopts the training offered by the partner to help each member identify their area of interest, practically learn through the content required to attain the necessary certification that would be suitable for carrying out different jobs in the industry.
At Swahilipot Hub, we build the community capacity through different trainings such as programming, design, blogging and branding.
This trainings are accessible to all our community members who want to level up their skills. All community members are given the opportunity and space to conduct trainings.
